Close-up of Uncle Tracey

Published by Jim at 12:03 am under People,Portraits

2009-12-15After getting the last post together, I decided to see what else could be done with the photo.  I first converted it to black and white, then added a sepia tone to give it an old image look.  The last thing I did was to crop the image for more intimate view of my uncle.

Try making changes to some already favorite photos that you may have and you’ll find that there are many pictures inside the original photo.

Which do you like better?

Well now, this makes me feel really old. When sephia was all the rage Tracy and I were much younger.

P.S. There are programs out there that allow you to convert color photos directly to either sephia or black and white. I’ll have to do a little experimenting with some photos of my own.

Great picture, Jim! I believe that I like this one the best. The close up effect makes it so personal. I love my Dad’s hands….they have accomplished so much. I’m glad your dad shared this with me! If you are ever back this way….please stop by……
    Your cousin,
    Serena

Oh, no doubt, the sepia adds a lot of character. I like it!
