The photo of Roche Harbor looks peaceful under the night sky. I've spent some time up there with the folks and their boat. It was a great place!

Jim, Thank you for giving us such a treasure. Thank you for your dedication to detail and your eye for beauty. You've provided a lasting keepsake in these beautiful pictures. I can hardly wait to see the rest...I know they are going to be SO special.

I think just the opposite, Jim. In this example I feel the black and white photo has a lot more character and the life of the tree is not subdued by the grass in the foreground and the lights of the town in the background. In the black & white version of the photo, the viewer is able to focus more on the actual subject of the image -- which is the tree.

Nice shot!

I'm biased, but the black and white is so much more engaging and artistic than the color in this instance. Well done! Kevin (from Nik)

PS: Hope to see the starry version someday!

I love these shots of your dad. I really admire your work and believe that my life would be even more blessed than it is if I knew you as the cousin that you are to me! I was able to capture a wonderfu moment of Dad and Mom on their porch the other day. Since day has pancreatic cancer in its last stages....these times are so very precious.
Blessings....Serena

I love the black and white. It gives my eye a chance to really look at the details. Who knew these dancers would have to confine their shoelaces!

This bridge is actually up in the Sun Valley, Idaho area. It spans the Wood River about 5 miles or so north of Ketchum.
